This year’s 5th Grade Recognition Ceremony will be held on Thursday, June 7th at 9:30AM in the Gymnasium.  Seating is limited to two guests per 5th grade student.  All guests are invited to join us for a reception in the cafeteria following the ceremony.

It is a tradition at WES that the 4th grade parents assist with the 5th Grade Recognition Ceremony.  Volunteers are needed to help set up on June 6th and run the ceremony on June 7th.  If you are available, please contact Shelia Martin at mwmsam@gmail.com for more information.  Thanks!  The Fifth Grade Committee

WES Students celebrated collecting  over $1,600 in Box Tops on Thursday, April 26th with an extra 10 minutes of recess time. I am pleased to announce that our spring fundraiser, the Spring Carnival, held on April 21, 2012 brought in over $10K.  This event is the only “active” fundraiser for the second half of the year, so its success was crucial. Thanks to all the enthusiastic volunteers who showed up for our April 28th Spring Clean-Up Day!  We had a small but hard-working group who weeded the Memory Garden and other planting beds (a big task), picked up trash and limbs and planted flowers.  I also would like to give kudos to our volunteers that helped [...]
