Who We Are
The Weatherstone Elementary School (WES) Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a local chapter of the National PTA, North Carolina PTA and Wake County PTA. It is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit made up parents, families, teachers, staff, administrators, and other involved adults who work together for the success of all children and families.
The mission of the WES PTA is to positively impact the lives of each and every child and family at WES.
What We Do
We fund, coordinate, and host activities and events throughout the school year including:
Cultural Arts Programs
Positivity Project
Staff Appreciation Events
Edible Garden
Yearbook
Spirit Wear
Running Club
Community Helper Day
Backpack Buddies
Grants for Teachers and Departments
Technology upgrades throughout the school
STEM Land
